CRYOGENIC GLOBE VALVES

Cryogenic globe valves are chosen for these applications due to their ability to provide a tight seal and reliable operation under extreme conditions. Some of the Special features:

  • The extended bonnet feature of these valves locates the packing away from the cold media in the valve to prevent the damage of the stuffing box.
  • Cavity relief in order to protect the valve body against overpressure caused by thermal expansion / liquid evaporation.
  • Insulation collar / Drip plate / Insulation ring is a circular plate welded to the valve bonnet extension in order both to identify extent of the insulation and to avoid condensation entering the insulated area.
